Ultem™ AM9085F by Sabic – available on Roboze One+400 Xtreme, Argo 350 and Argo 500 – is one of the most performing amorphous polymers within the wide range of Roboze materials. It is a high performance polyetherimide having excellent thermal properties and dimensional stability.

Ultem™ AM9085F presents also a key property in the transportation sector, such as the self-exstinguishing capacity. Most polymers need additives to be considered Flame Retardant. Super polymers like ULTEM™ AM9085F have this property intrinsically with no need of additives. This is confirmed by the UL 94-V0, the best class of self-exstinguing materials. The standard validates the reaction of plastics against the flame, so the tendency of the material to exstinguish the flame once the sample has been subjected to ignition. Moreover, the FST certification (Flame, Smoke and Toxicity) states the non-toxicity of the smoke developed during the burning.
