SPE ATCE 2022: Roboze technology to empower progress and energy

Roboze 3D printing technology is at the forefront of supporting the energy sector, which is currently facing major challenges.

Working closely with energy OEMs, we have manufactured and validated the use of multiple printed parts in PEEK and Carbon PEEK, high performance super polymers and composites that can replace metals in many different applications. These include backup sealing rings, disk valves for compressors, tooling for the production of glass fiber pipes and tools in contact with particularly reactive chemical agents such as ammonium nitrate.

Among all, bushings and seals were tested at pressures of 400 bar and temperatures up to 200 °C, reducing delivery times from 10-20 days to 2-3 days and reducing costs by 20%.
