The challenges of additive manufacturing as an opportunity for collaboration between the two Countries

1st December at 10 AM (CET) – 11 AM (SAST)

The global market has to face fluctuations and changes every day and it is increasingly hard to satisfy requests due to the difficulty of adapting logistics chains and shipping services.

South Africa represents a territory where, in recent years, additive manufacturing has revolutionized production processes in the Aerospace, Medical and Manufacturing industries.

3D printing is, in fact, an extremely versatile technology, capable to meet the needs of different industrial sectors by solving problems that most of the time lead to a shortage of essential goods and products.

The Italian-South African Chamber of Trade and Industries and Unioncamere, with the support of the South African Department of Science and Innovation and the Italian Embassy in Pretoria, are organizing a digital round table that will gather the main operators in the sector to explore the challenges that the industry is facing in the current pandemic scenario, with the aim of devising concrete opportunities for commercial cooperation between South African and Italian operators.

Roboze has been asked to collaborate. Alessio Lorusso, CEO and Founder, will present the advantages offered by Roboze 3D printing solutions aimed at promoting the acceleration of the digital transformation of the industries involved thanks to the benefits offered by the On-Demand and Just in Time production of finished parts with high performance polymers.
