3D production of components for industrial automation. The Materea case.
Materea is an Italian technology consultancy company, provider of services and products for the world of design, fashion and architecture.
The company was looking for a 3D printing solution to produce functional components and tooling for its customers' automated and robotic production lines, with the aim of producing ad hoc components with optimized times and costs.
The Roboze PLUS PRO solution allowed Materea to produce gear wheels in PEEK and robot cell tooling brackets in ToolingX CF, finished and functional parts.
The Roboze PLUS PRO is part of the Professional series developed by Roboze for the production of tools (tooling) and functional components with the possibility of using technopolymers that guarantee excellent performance, such as PEEK, Carbon PEEK, PEKK, ToolingX CF and Carbon PA PRO. The PRO series aims to speed up production processes with finished and functional parts with a 3D printing system closer to the needs of the manufacturing world.
Materea's next goal will be to expand application opportunities with technical and high-performance materials for industrial automation.
