WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: Partner with company leadership to identify new business opportunities and develop entry strategies in Chemical . Work with key stakeholders to execute these strategies and expand Roboze’s footprint.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Engage and develop partnerships with key Chemical contractors and subcontractors to position Roboze as a preferred supplier of high-performance additive manufacturing. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends to offer targeted solutions.
  • Lead Teams and Manage Projects: Work alongside the global Chemical Team to advancing the development and application of Roboze technologies in the sector.
  • Work cross-functionally to align with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to deliver value to clients.
  • Expand Business Opportunities: Generate a robust pipeline of new opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and work with internal teams to close deals. Leverage your network and industry knowledge to drive demand for Roboze's solutions.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, identify unmet needs, and leverage this information to differentiate Roboze’s solutions in the Chemical sector.
  • Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders: Work closely with Roboze teams to define technical requirements and support the integration of 3D printing technologies in Chemical.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Engineering degrees (e.g. Materials Science, Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical) with at least 10 years of combined experience, preferably in leading machinery OEMs (pumps, valves, cooling fans…), Chemical and Refining companies or aftermarket businesses. Experience could include roles in asset management with expertise in repair and maintenance operations, materials engineering, asset integrity, corrosion management, manufacturing engineering, reverse engineering, machinery engineering, or product management. Advanced degrees, such as an MS or PhD, may substitute for 2 and 4 years of experience, respectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Applicants must demonstrate a deep understanding of the chemical and refining value chain and operating principles, especially regarding maintenance, turnarounds, and spare parts management and procurement. Strong awareness of market trends and challenges (digital transformation, hydrogen and other low carbon solutions), and unmet needs within the chemical and refining industries are essential, as is knowledge of MOC (Management of Change) processes for repairs. Comfortable in delving into international standards (e.g., API, AMPP, DNV, ASME, ISO) and engaging in discussion with customers on materials selection philosophy, failure analysis and evaluating metal replacement opportunities by Roboze advanced materials. 
  • Business Acumen: Candidate should build long-term partnerships with key change managers at clients and develop a go-to-market strategy with plans for each client type across the value chain, and map demand for Roboze solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills are required to engage with decision-makers, engineers, and maintenance leaders, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and production.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in additional languages such as Norwegian, French, German, or Dutch is desirable.
  • Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate shall be a high energy and motivated self-starter with a growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A passion for innovation and the drive to promote digital transformation in the Chemical and Refining sectors are critical.
  • Travel Requirements: The role requires a willingness to travel up to 50% within Europe and up to 20% the possibility of travelling globally.  

Location: Remote (UK, Norway – Location could be adjusted within Europe for qualified candidates)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates with experience working with OEMs, or clients such as Shell, BP, TotalEnergies, BASF, INEOS, SABIC, ExxonMobil, LyondellBasell, Dow, and Borealis, as well as maintenance teams at facilities like Rotterdam Refinery, Antwerp Refinery, Grangemouth Refinery, Leuna Chemical Complex, Ludwigshafen Chemical Plant (BASF), Stade Industrial Park, Tarragona Chemical Complex, and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges chemical cluster are highly desirable.
  • Additive manufacturing technologies, particularly those involving high-performance polymers, will be preferred. 
  • Familiarity with refining and chemical operations, including process optimization, catalyst selection, feedstock management, and petrochemical production. Knowledge of advanced refining technologies such as hydrocracking, catalytic reforming, and fluid catalytic cracking is highly desirable. 
  • Proven experience in scaling pilot projects into long-term commercial engagements and a strong understanding of local market dynamics, supported by established networks within the chemical and refining sectors, are beneficial.
