We are glad to officially announce the launch of a new high impact FFF solution that will enable the production of high-end finished parts for industrial, aerospace and automotive sectors, meeting ever-growing demand for high performance machines and consumables.
The new machine, which will be presented to the G-38 Formnext booth, will be shown in global preview and will kick off the first Roboze series dedicated to the production. Its name is ARGO 500.
The name “ARGO” takes inspiration from Greek mythology. Particularly refers to the ship that accompanied a group of 50 heroes under the guidance of Jason to the recapture of the golden fleece. The association reflects the strong character of the Argonauts linked to the research effort in waters where no one had gone before.
ARGO 500 is the result of deep market needs listening, intensive research and strategic close relationship in these years of activity with the major players in aerospace and motorsport sectors.
The new Roboze solution will allow the production of finished parts with a print volume of 500x500x500 mm in high-performance techno-polymers: PEEK, ULTEM ™ AM9085F, Carbon PA and the new CARBON PEEK.
Roboze’s CARBON PEEK is a PEEK reinforced with carbon fiber which will face even more extreme application challenges increasingly focusing in order to produce finished structural parts in areas that require high-level performance.
“Roboze CARBON PEEK adds extra thermal stability and stiffness to our already know PEEK. The addition of specially selected Carbon Fibers improve mechanical properties of the material and increase its HDT maintaining its properties even at a higher temperature than neat PEEK. ” says Simone Cuscito, Roboze CTO and Materials Scientist.
Roboze team will be available for the duration of Formnext 2017, at the booth G-38 in the hall 3.1, to discuss the company’s products and capabilities for additive manufacturing.
